Owned since 2001 by Irish couple Brenda and Lochlann Quinn, Chateau de Fieuzal is in the heart of Pessac-Leognan, shaped by the Atlantic climate and gravel soils - the finest part of the Bordeaux region for making white wines.
L'Abeille is their 'second wine' but has over the years developed it's own identity, crafted with the same care and attention as the Grand Vin. A Semillon-dominant blend (55% to 45% Sauvignon Blanc) gives this wine a lovely richness of body kept in perfect balance by crisp acidity.
Pretty and layered aroma of chamomile, pear and orange peel on the nose, with a subtle flintiness. The palate is silky and very long, refining into a dry and zesty finish that keeps you coming back for more.
