Bee Tree Vineyard in Wivelsfield Green, East Sussex was established in 2015 and is now owned by Dermot and Ana Sugrue, who have fitted out their new winery on-site. A warm site, surrounded by woodland with clay and greensand soils, especially suited to Pinots Noir and Meunier. As members of Sustainable Wines of Great Britain they follow methods of vineyard management that work in harmony with nature rather than rely on heavy spraying, and have also constructed bird and bat boxes in the hedges and woodland around the vineyard.
Made entirely from the Pinot Meunier variety, this sparkling rose delivers abundant peach, rosehip and red berry aromas with a delightful hint of stony minerals. Excellent balance on the palate, with persistent fine bead and a long dry finish.
