Located in the Haut Medoc between Margaux and St Julien, Chateau Beaumont's 113 hectares surround the stunning 19th century chateau. Certified by Terra Vitis, their vineyards are farmed according to the sustainable principles of Integrated Viticulture, using precision and alternative methods to reduce the use of chemical sprays in the vineyard.

While 2013 was a challenging vintage in Bordeaux, with a baking hot mid-summer bookended by rainy spring and autumn, the perseverance of great vineyard management and winemaking at Beaumont still produced a charming and classic wine. Now reaching full maturity, the tannins and acidity have softened making for extremely pleasurable drinking indeed!

55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot.

The delicious savoury charm of maturity is evident on the nose, with graphite, tobacco, woody spices and truffle aromas overlaid with the damson and black cherry fruit. Medium-bodied and very gastronomic palate, with soft and resolved tannins, dried fruits and lots of delicious spice. A perfect wine for lovers of traditional Bordeaux.
