Caronne is a 45 ha property lying just to the west of St.Julien, whose neighbours wines are regularly sold for double the price. Planted traditionally with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. François Nony has made many improvements at the property which have gradually brought up the quality of the wines, bringing out the fruit and softening the style without losing the essential character of the wine.
