When the Bilancini family first took over the Tirecul vineyard in 1992 they found it in a state of total disrepair. However they saw the potential of this historic site and through hard work and dedication it was transformed to one of Monbazillac's most esteemed estates. Farming organically since 2009 they aim to produce wines that show the true essence of the region.
Les Pins comes from their younger vines, blending Semillon with Muscadelle for a sweet wine with delicious fruity freshness. Peach and apricot jam notes with hints of orange peel and ginger on the nose. Luscious palate with more ripe stone fruit, floral notes and great freshness. A superb pairing for apple crumble with custard or a creamy blue cheese like Roquefort.
