Based in Alsace Domaine Mittnacht has been producing wines since 1958, it is is a family-run estate led by the charming couple of Christophe and Yuka Mittnacht. In 1999 the winery became a pioneer for the biodynamic wine scene, they believe that biologically complex, complete soils are essential for producing elegant and terroir driven wines.
This has all the hallmarks of a great Alsatian Riesling; fresh apple, pear and the indicative petroleum on the nose following on to a crisp, mineral driven palate. Perfect on its own or with fish.
