Cicada takes its name from the famed ‘singing cicadas’ of Provence.
Cicada Blanc is an expertly blended Vin de France featuring an unusual combination of Viognier (30%), Picpoul Blanc (30%) and Grenache Blanc (40%). This vintage sourced from clay limestone soils in Richerenes provides high quality grapes for the Grenache Blanc and Picpoul, with the Viognier sourced in the Northern Rhône. Alex Favier then crafts the final blend in stainless steel with a one-week maceration.
Easy-drinking, unoaked and not too serious but still bursting with flavour. Stunning aromatics on the nose, nice weight on the palate and a fresh, bright finish.
