Diamantakis is a modern winery in Crete, in the heart of the Malevizi province. The Diamantakis family established the winery in 2007, the family have been making wine with the help of three generations. Their vineyards, 25 hectares of vines, are in an area rich with winemaking history using varieties such as Assyrtiko, Vidiano and Mandilari.
Fermented in stainless steel and presenting a pale yellow colour, with flavours of fresh citrus, floral aromas and Cretan herbs like thyme and oregano. High, crispy acidity, remaining for three months on lees provides more depth and complexity to the texture, leading to a long finish with some notes of minerality.
