Diamantakis is a modern winery located in the heart of the Malevizi province in Crete. Established by the Diamantakis family in 2007, the winery benefits from three generations of winemaking expertise. Their 25 hectares of vineyards are set in an area steeped in winemaking history, cultivating indigenous varieties such as Assyrtiko, Vidiano, and Mandilari.
The local grape Vidiano, aged on lees for 3 months in stainless steel, gives a lovely fresh dry wine, a little more fruity and round than the Assyrtiko. Pear, quince, lemon and almond notes with a long smooth finish.
