The Beaujolais Cru of Chiroubles has the region's highest altitude vines and produces light-bodied reds with wonderful fragrance and freshness.
Red berries, lilac and cherry make for a very pretty bouquet, leading into a fresh and juicy palate with wild strawberry and cranberry notes supported by bright acidity. In a 91 point review for Decanter, Andy Howard MW described it as "a fresh, characterful Chiroubles" with "plenty of interest for lovers of youthful, fruit-forward red wines". Delicious to drink on its own, with a light chill, or serve with a simple roast chicken.
