Guillaume Guiton joined his father Jean's 11-hectare estate in 1998 and took the helm in 2005. Known for its unpretentious yet expressive wines, the estate focuses almost exclusively on red wines from four parcels: two in Bligny and two between Bligny and Pommard. The wines spend 12 months aging in second- and third-fill barrels, resulting in a deep color, ripe forest fruit aromas, and a concentrated, supple palate—all excellent value for money.
Based in Bligny-lès-Beaune, just across the RN74 from Volnay, Guillaume follows a minimalist approach, allowing each wine's natural character and village distinction to come through. This wine pairs beautifully with chicken and turkey.
