Owners of the Château Lynch-Bages since 1939, over the generations, the Cazes family has spread its viticultural wings and developed a model brand steeped in a tradition of hospitality, from the Ariège mountains to the vineyards of the Mèdoc and elsewhere.
A true "baby Lynch-Bages," this third wine from the renowned Lynch-Bages family is an underappreciated gem. It offers a near-perfect expression of Pauillac, with its rich, autumnal notes of cedar and dark berries. First produced in 2009, it is crafted entirely from the estate’s younger vines.
This blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, and 3% Cabernet Franc serves as an excellent introduction to the property. While unmistakably Pauillac in character, the youthful fruit lends a forward, supple style that’s perfect for early enjoyment. Full-bodied with bold cedar and tobacco notes, this wine offers incredible value without the hefty price tag.
