Casas Relvas is a family-owned winery in Portugal’s Alentejo region, founded in 1997 by Alexandre Relvas. Inspired by the vast landscapes of his African roots, Relvas saw great potential in Herdade de São Miguel. The family’s love for the region also extends to the restoration of cork oak forests, a vital part of the local ecosystem.
This is a great Portuguese white made from a blend of Antao Vaz, Arinto, Verdelho and Viognier. The wine opens with delicate aromas of wild flowers and subtle hints of tropical fruit, complemented by touches of buttery coconut. On the palate, it is full-bodied with lively yet balanced acidity, a distinct mineral core, and a wonderfully well-rounded finish.
