Bodega Montes in Chile was founded by Aurelio Montes, when he realised the potential of the Mendoza wine growing region in 2000, describing it as ‘a superb land filled with generous wines and hardworking people’. Kaiken Wines was born in 2001 and today boasts superb vineyards in the sought-after regions of Vistalba, Agrelo and Vista Flores.
This elegant sparkling wine is crafted in the traditional Champagne method, using classic Champagne grapes, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Grown at an altitude of 1400 meters, the grapes benefit from cool temperatures that preserve the bright acidity essential for high-quality sparkling wine. The wine offers vibrant flavours of green apple, pear, and subtle buttery notes, balanced by fresh acidity for a beautifully harmonious glass of fizz.
