Lanzerac has the longest history of bottling Pinotage in the region, and their expertise is evident in this wine. This proudly South African variety benefits from 5 to 10 years of maturation, developing a rich, velvety texture with luxurious chocolate and caramel flavours reminiscent of Lanzerac’s early vintages. This full-bodied, complex wine offers a harmonious balance of fruit and wood, supported by a robust tannin structure that promises excellent aging potential. The 2021 Pinotage features a deep, vibrant colour and a bouquet of ripe berries, plums, smoky eucalyptus, and subtle leather. On the palate, it delivers intensely ripe brambles and brioche with a satisfying mouth-feel and a lingering finish. This wine is lovely now and will continue to improve, offering great value for money.
