Named after Franco Lourens’ father, whose image features on the label, this is a delicious red blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Carignan all sourced from dry farmed bush vines in the Swartland.
A delightful blend of 30% Grenache Noir, 33% Cinsault, 21% Syrah, 16% Carignan.
The 80% whole cluster fermentation brings a complex perfume of bright fruit, black peppercorns, floral notes and sweet spices.
A vibrant wine thanks to a light extraction. Once matured for 10 months in old French barrels the wine is bottled unfined with coarse filtration.
