Madam Flock is the project of two friends, Rob and Derek, an American and a Canadian who met in Barossa Valley during a harvest in 2016. They have two vineyards located in Lehmen village, in the Mosel region of Germany.

The Müller-Thurgau, Riesling and Kerner grapes were harvested from across their terraced vineyards in late August to Mid September 2020. The vines range from 10-70 years in age.

The wine undergoes spontaneous and full malolactic fermentation before 20% goes to barrel on full solids and 80% to tank on the lees. It is then has 6 months maturation.

Madam Flock are in the process of organic conversion and their wines are made with minimal intervention; they are low in sulphur, unfined and unfiltered.

They describe this blend as a wine in it's infancy with room for development. It is delicate and reserved at present... "a refined flower garden upon first opening leading to elegant fruit. A structured phenolic palate with refined acidity. Rewards air, age, and patience!"
