A blend of Garnacha 60%, Cariñena 30%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10% from the Priorat region of Spain.
The Marco Abella family have been producing wines in the Priorat region since the 15th century and now own plots located on seven different mountains in the village of Porrera
The vineyards with great care and respect for the environment, consistently employing the latest practices in organic farming. The grapes are fermented with indigenous yeasts and Loidana is aged in french oak barrels for 10-12 months in cellars located seven meters below ground level.
Intense aromas of strawberry, cherry, raspberry and black cherries with hints of blue flowers, cedar and spices. Smooth and velvety on the palate with a pleasing freshness. It marries particularly well with poultry and pasta dishes. Cannelloni , codfish, roast chicken with plums and pine nuts.
