Located just outside Albernoa, is the Beja province of Alentejo. It's large wine region in southern Portugal, in land and surrounded by stunning hills and mountains, and there are many different climates to this mainly unknown region.
Deep purple colour with a very expressive nose, with notes of red and wild fruits, along with floral hints. On the palate, the fruity character persists, with good structure, balanced by fresh acidity and ripe tannins. A Monte da Peceguina Tinto with good ageing potential, a very versatile food wine, and one that will evolve very well in the bottle.
