Known as one of the highest quality co-operatives in the world this winery has been collecting the grapes from local producers in Piedmont since 1894. Now with 50 families tending their precious vineyards in order to produce the best possible Nebbiolo grapes. The wines will age for many years to come, older vintages are incredibly rare and sought after.
It is grown on clayey-calcareous soils and is fermented in steel at 30 °, has 28 days of maceration on the skins, completed malolactic fermentation. It is further aged for 36 months in oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle.
It is a full-bodied wine, representative of the vintage, with great aromaticity, balanced tannins and a mineral finish.
