The more than 1,200-year-old Seehof is located in the middle of the old town centre of the Rhenish-Hessian municipality of Westhofen, directly at the source of the Seebach. In the fifth generation, the Fauth family runs the 17.5 hectare winery.
The Seehof Riesling Trocken ("trocken" means "dry" in German) is light gold in colour with green highlights. On the nose, aromas of grapefruit, apple and candied lemon present themselves instantly. The palate is direct and lean with a saline minerality and a mix of stone fruit and citrus flavours: apricot, white peach and meyer lemon. There is excellent concentration of flavour which is impeccably balanced by a racy acidity, Enjoy with a huge range of dishes from lime and jalapeno shrimp tacos to spicy crab linguine to apple stuffed pork loin.
