We can never resist a good label with a dog on! And when the wine that accompanies it is as good as this red blend we are very happy indeed.
An unconventional blend of Cinsault, Sangiovese, Mourvedre and Carignan from a selection of vineyards in Paarl, Pikinierskloof and Franschhoek. Aged for 8 months in second and third use oak barrels.
Juicy and vibrant, with soft cherry and raspberry fruits, hints of earth and bramble and a lovely spicy finish. A little bit of grip gives this the perfect structure to go with food, particularly grilled meats or lasagna.
