Laurie Shelton is the founder of CAMi. Since losing her husband in 2008, she has embarked on the cathartic process of making wines in his honour, from the land they purchased together in 2000. It is a small plot of arid land, perfect for Cabernet Sauvignon production. The vines are low yielding and produce concentrated fruit in the form of tiny berries. A hands-off, minimal intervention approach to farming means no use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. The wine is made in a classic Bordeaux style. We are very privileged to get our hands on these precious wines. We would like to promote Laurie’s philosophy of sharing these wines with loved ones, in the same spirit as CAMi was conceived.
Cabernet Sauvignon CAMi 2017:100% single-vineyard. It is a very limited bottling from their Calistoga valley floor vineyard. A complex and very well integrated wine, full of sweet and savoury red fruit and dried herbs with an undercurrent of minerality. It's mouth filling and dense on the pallet with sweet tannins with a slightly toasted oak finish.
CAMi Napa Estate Red Wine:The CAMi Red Blend is this producer's flagship Estate red wine, made from a nearly fifty fifty blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, fermented in the finest French oak barrels. It is hand-crafted by their winemaker John Giannini, making just under 200 cases each year. We are lucky enough to have three different vintages of this exclusive wine:
2014 - This wine has a luscious bouquet of red and blue berries, balanced by rose petal and tobacco with a touch of smoke on the nose. The wine is rich, juicy, and dense in texture like chocolate and berry pie, with a hint of smoke and herbs.
2015 - It fills the palate with blueberry and blackcurrant fruit, with a long silky finish.Only four barrels were made! 94 points from Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate
2016- An elegant wine. The nose is vibrant, with hints of chocolate, plums, cedar and smoky cherry. It's a complex wine with sweet tannins and a slightly toasted oak finish.

CAMi Sauvignon Blanc 2019:100% Sauvignon Blanc from theRiverbound vineyard in Yountville, CA. Medium bodied with vibrant acidity and minerality this wine takes you on a journey of aromas on the nose and palate. It begins notes with lychee, nectarine, honey and melon before moving into hints of kiwi, lemon zest and lemon curd. This is a wine that will keep you wanting more with its long, smooth finish.Only 77 cases produced.
