This Verdejo (with 10% Viura) is pale, lemon, bright in colour, it is bone-dry, and shows distinct earthy, herbal complexity. Verdejo is sometimes referred to as Spain’s answer to Sauvignon Blanc but it is more restrained with flavours of lemon peel and green peach and dry zesty finish. It is wonderfully clean, pure, and racy, with a hint of spicy-bitter twist to complement the juicy tropical fruit flavours.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
