From the prestigious Adelphi Selection range, we are excited to have just a couple of bottles of this single cask bottling from the rarely seen Blair Athol distillery. A lot of this distillery's output is used in blends, and the only official release is from sherry cask, making this single Bourbon barrel bottling quite the special something!
Balanced, fruity and extremely fine, this is real delight for any whisky enthusiast while being approachable for newcomers to the style. Layers of vanilla, heather honey, nectarine and baked apple on the nose lead to a rich palate with a lingering finish with dried fruit and ginger notes.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.
