Its the one you’ve all been waiting for and the rum we get asked about most, thi sis Goldstones first batch of dark rum is ready for sipping.
Created by using a process called rapid aging, they’ve taken used barrels that have been decommissioned and chipped into small pieces. They can age the rum faster than a traditional cask method as there is more surface area and use chips from multiple barrels to give you a unique delicious rum.
They use bourbon, sherry, cognac and virgin cherry and allow the rum to rest for 20 days. As with all of their products they don’t add any sugar, flavours or colourings to the bottle.
Oak, vanilla, leather and hints of plum. You will gets bags of vanillia from the oak, plum and whispers of bergamot and smoky golden raisin on the finish.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
