Rumor Rosé was born from a group of friends seeking the perfect pink wine, led by founder Barry Bayat, who left the business world to discover the ideal cuvée. After extensive winery visits and taste tests, Bayat found the ideal location in the Var hills of southern France, where winemaking traditions date back to the Knights Templar. The grapes, grown in clay, limestone-rich soil, are carefully selected to create a blend of Provençal varietals like Grenache, Vermentino, Cinsault, Shiraz, and Tibourin. Crafted with organic, vegan grapes and without chemicals or added sugars, Rumor Rosé is a pale pink, well-balanced wine that respects both nature and tradition, offering a sophisticated, refreshing taste.
This cuvée greets you with inviting aromas of white florals and sweet spice, followed by vibrant notes of pink grapefruit, white peach, and jasmine on the palate. The finish is framed by fresh apricot and a refreshing touch of salinity. Best served chilled, Rumor Rosé offers depth and versatility, making it perfect as an aperitif or a delightful pairing with a wide range of dishes, including traditional Mediterranean cuisine, tapas, vegetables, and grilled seafood.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
