In the highlands of Mantinea on the Peloponnese in Greece, Troupis Winery are leading the way in raising the profile for the Moschofilero grape variety. This pink-skinned grape is perfectly suited to the area, where intense sunshine is balanced by the cooling affect of their 640m altitude.
The TOMH Mantinia is their flagship expression, from their low yielding estate vineyards, fermented cool in stainless steel tanks to preserve the signature floral character of Moschofilero. Aromas of jasmine, bergamot and orange lead the beautiful nose with some quince and white peach coming through on the palate. The soft, rounded body is well balanced with fresh acidity, making for a deliciously drinkable style.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
