His philosophy is based on ensuring that modern vineyard management is used and he seeks to bottle exactly what nature provides.
This Ancestral blend consists of 40% Chardonnay, 30% Sauvignon and 30% Viognier is an extraordinary example of how far Argentina has come in recent years with white wines. On the nose it is exotic and irresistible, with notes of bergamot, white peach, asparagus, mandarin and gooseberry. Fine texture and lean yet wonderfully rich and round on the mid palate with an incredible finish redolent of pineapple, pear, grapefruit and wild honey. Only 1,000 bottles were made and we managed to get out hands on few. A wine more than capable of ageing beautifully for a decade or more.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

Henry and Team managed to locate some difficult to find American wine which they kindly offered and I gratefully accepted. They truly differentiate by being able to surprise by sourcing stock very much outside the run of the mill.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
