Ermitage Blanc is 100% Roussanne that was brought up in 50% new French oak. It offers lots of ripe orchard fruits and quince-like fruits as well as bitter almond and spicy oak, medium to full body, a seamless, layered texture, and a great finish. I like its purity as well as its balance. This is a terrific, rock-solid Hermitage Blanc.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
