Working In the heart of Volnay you will find an innovative young winemaker. Pierrick took over this magnificent estate in 2014 and he has since won the title 'Young Vigneron of the year' from Bourgogne Aujourd'hui magazine. The winemaking philosophy is all about allowing the wines to evolve naturally while delivering a undeniable purity of fruit. the process involves minimal sulphur and intervention to achieve wines expressive of the region.
An elegant white wine with delicate aromas of white fruit, white flowers and mineral notes. Fresh and well-balanced on the palate, with good acidity to underline its liveliness. Ideal as an aperitif or with seafood, this Chardonnay expresses all the finesse of Burgundy's terroir.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
