Filipa Pato's philosophy is simple: create authentic wines without make-up to express the true nature of the vineyards they come from.
This biodynamic Baga is crafted to express the complexity of grapes handpicked from different sites in Bairrada. Each parcel is fermented separately then assembled to create the unique Dinamica blend.
The 2022 vintage is vivid and fruity as always, with bright strawberry and plum notes and low alcohol. Don't let its easy-drinking nature fool you though, this packs bags of complexity and depth behind its crisp, silky-tannined frame. Black pepper, aniseed, laurel and thyme all mingle and merge together beautifully.
Great with a charcuterie platter, or a crunchy vegetable salad, or grilled fish, or poultry, or hard cheeses. Or pretty much anything you like. This is as versatile as it is fun.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

Henry and Team managed to locate some difficult to find American wine which they kindly offered and I gratefully accepted. They truly differentiate by being able to surprise by sourcing stock very much outside the run of the mill.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
