The Produttori del Barbaresco cooperative, located between Alba and Asti, has played a key role in elevating the reputation of Barbaresco wines. Founded in 1958 by a visionary village priest who united 19 small growers, the winery has since grown to include over 50 members cultivating more than 100 hectares of Nebbiolo vines—nearly a sixth of the entire Barbaresco appellation. Led by the highly respected Aldo Vacca for over 25 years, the cooperative continues to craft outstanding expressions of the region.

Hailing from one of the region’s most esteemed cooperatives, this is a true Nebbiolo without the Barbaresco price tag. While labelled as Langhe DOC, it more than holds its own. Juicy and vibrant, it offers layers of cherries, redcurrants, and a delicate floral lift. Medium-bodied and approachable, it’s perfect for early drinking, with fine tannins adding structure and a savoury, earthy finish. Elegant enough for a dinner party yet relaxed enough for pizza night, it strikes the perfect balance.
