An exciting new orange wine from Vindemiate, featuring Butlers' cat Bear on the label! A ripe vintage gave them the opportunity to make a skin contact wine from excellent Bacchus fruit sourced from a vineyard in Essex. 30 days on the skins before 18 months lees ageing in a mixture of old barrels and stainless steel has given this wine delicious weight and texture. A limited production of just 422 bottles.
Pale orange in the glass, with a light haziness (it is unfined and unfiltered to preserve maximum flavour). Aromas of apricot, grapefruit with a slight peppery, herbal hint to the nose. The palate balances freshness with soft fleshy tannins and lovely stone fruit flavours.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
