Thank you to St Luke's School for arranging the excellent wine tasting we hosted on Friday. We showed 6 wines for Christmas, all fantastic! The sparkling Vouvray is one of my favourites for a non Champagne or English fizz alternative. It'shoneyed and full of stoned fruit flavours while zesty & dry, a perfect match to seafood, crab, crayfish and prawns would be amazing! The Umore Pinot Nero from Italy is fresh and full of ripe summery fruits & would work with Turkey for sure. The Ladron Autor Rioja is soft and fruity, an ideal red to suit everyone and 5 litres of Niepoort Vinhos Ruby port is a must for the festive season.
