We are very happy for our friends at Wiston Estate Winery who have just had more success at the Sommelier Wine Awards 2015. We absolutely love these wines and Dermot Sugrue Pierre is just excellent and we are pleased to call him a friend as well as a genius wine maker.
We have both these wines in stock, the Wiston is £25.00 and the Sugrue Pierre is £36.00. Get some now as the stock is limited and we'll be taking some home ourselves.

The sheer complexity of this wine appealed from the start. 'Plenty of mousse, a fresh mix of citrus and biscuit on the nose, plus a richly flavoured palate, with creamy notes and good freshness throughout,' said team leader Richard Bampfield MW. 'Quite like a Cramant Champagne, with lots of chalk and bite,' added Chris Wood of Chelsea Vintners, concluding: 'Very versatile.'
Sugrue Pierre, Brut, 2011, Sussex, England, England
A deft blend of fruit, floral and spicy notes plus a great finish gave Sugrue Pierre Gold. Rich, with a creamy butterscotch character on the nose, the palate is dry and mineral-driven, with good weight and a vibrant finish. 'Crunchy, toasty red fruits, the palate is bold and round, with good persistence and length,' said team leader Angela Reddin.
