Lete Vautrain Champagne Rose Royal Brut NV

For a celebratory drink with that extra flair and a touch of royalty, try this beautiful pink Champagne from  a small producer with vineyards based around the town of Ch Thierry and neighbouring village Essomes-sur-Marne. Crafted using the traditional method, this Rose Champagne hails from a quaint eight-hectare vineyard. It undergoes an impressive 36 months of lees aging, which encourages complexity and a harmonious union of the base wines. It's gorgeous pink hue is achieved by blending the lighter variety Pinot Meunier, topped up with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Enticing scents of freshly harvested grapes and delicate red fruits. Upon sipping, this Champagne delights the palate with an abundance of fruitiness, where hints of luscious strawberries and vibrant raspberries take centre stage. Raise a glass in style this Pride.

 

 

Diamantakis Petali Assyrtiko 2022

Greece is the perfect region to celebrate the intersection of wine and a history of historical queer icons. Look no further than the Greek god Dionysus, patron of the grapevine and revelry, plus the Greeks never shied away from stories of same-sex love, and Dionysus has his fair share.

Diamantakis is a modern winery in Crete, in the heart of the Malevizi province. The Diamantakis family established the winery in 2007, the family have been making wine with the help of three generations. Their vineyards, 25 hectares of vines, are in an area rich with winemaking history using varieties such as Assyrtiko, Vidiano and Mandilari. Fermented in stainless steel and presenting a pale yellow colour, with flavours of fresh citrus, floral aromas and Cretan herbs like thyme and oregano. High, crispy acidity, remaining for three months on lees provides more depth and complexity to the texture, leading to a long finish with some notes of minerality.

The Vineyard Party I'm Your Huckleberry 2020

Pride is first and foremost a protest and a demonstration of resilience, however that doesn't prevent it from being a perfect time for a party. This South African orange wine is the perfect bottle for keeping your festivities lively and interesting.

Winemaker Jolette Steyn seeks out sustainably farmed vineyards that prioritise biodiversity. She produces her wines in tiny quantities and embraces avant-garde, low intervention techniques in the cellar. Only 854 bottles of this Stellenbosch Semillon were produced.The wine has 30% skin contact for 10 days with stems, and 70% whole bunches pressed then put into old oak for fermentation and ageing.

An unusual orange wine, lightly golden in colour. Dried orange peel on the nose with apple, white pepper and sweet spice on the palate.  A vibrant, textural wine with a fresh yet savoury finish. The life of the party in a bottle!

The Liberator 'All The Wounded Creatures' Malbek 25cl Can

Part of The Liberator range from renowned Master of Wine, Richard Kelley, who is also known as the 'Cape Crusader' working on seeking out (liberating) rare wines that may have been blended in bulk. 

In a rough translation from Afrikaans, "mal bek" refers to an individual with an intriguingly uninhibited or lively manner of speaking. It's not intended as a disparaging term; rather, it's used affectionately to depict someone who might have a tendency towards "verbal diarrhoea." The wine itself emerges as bold and opulent, displaying pronounced fragrances of wild blackberries, accompanied by a discernible floral character and inviting notes of warm spices on the nose. Abundant, creamy black fruit flavours are harmoniously counterbalanced by a vivacious, refreshing crispness.

Pimentaes founders, Alice & Wynter, are at the forefront of creating quality crafted cocktails and featuring incredible artists through their branding. Based in London, they want to redefine how people savour tequila! They have partnered with El Tequileño, one of only eight tequila brands crafted exclusively in its own distillery. Recently ranked as the third-best distillery out of 130, El Tequileño has been a family endeavour for over six decades, produced in the historic La Guarreña distillery in the heart of tequila, Mexico.

Their Tommy's Margarita is a crisp blend of tequila, zesty lime and the sweet touch of agave to round it off. This blend is a real classic and it couldn’t be easier to enjoy.
